The Local Youth Service in Gennevilliers, a town situated in the Paris banlieue, runs a local youth council involving young adults aged between 18 and 25 years, mostly of migration origin and often in phases of professional orientation. The Youth Service developed a particular approach of participation, including civic training, project attendance and cultural forms of multiplication. International projects as European exchanges are linked to this participatory approach. This partner thus contributes competence and expertise to the thematic field of participation in local contexts and civic education on a local basis. It will include members from CEMEA Ile-de-France who contribute special pedagogical experience regarding social inclusion of young adults.
