"Citizens in Action" is a nonprofit, non-governmental youth organization based in Athens. The aim of C.i.A is to support and promote the idea of active citizenship especially to young people, through new forms of social commitment and participation. C.i.A. contributes to community and local development through the participation of local and foreign volunteers in projects of benefit to all, with an emphasis on rural areas. It contributes expertise and experience in the fields of youth voluntary work (work camps), youth mobility and communication, international exchanges and other forms of non-formal civic education.
